Educators are also invited to participate in the WNYCBE Educator Event!

A 4-hour CTLE Workshop | Pre-K—Grade 8 led by Literacy Consultant and Author, Judy Bradbury.  Engage in an idea-and-resource-packed workshop at the 4th annual WNYCBE. This event, intended for classroom, reading, and special education teachers; media center specialists, administrators, college faculty, teacher candidates, support personnel, and home schoolers, offers even more than
last year’s sold-out event!

Registrants receive:
A bounty of FREE educator materials including A BOOK by an Expo author…AND
A $20 coupon to be used at the Expo for books, generously provided by Medaille College!

WNYCBE is a NYS-approved provider of CTLE.  Certificates of attendance will be provided to all registered attendees.

IMAGINE all the ways to use books in the classroom with insights from a panel of eleven nationally-acclaimed, award winning, and beloved children’s authors and illustrators including Loren Long, Alyssa Capucilli, Cynthia Lord, Jim Averbeck, London Ladd, Lesa Cline-Ransome, Stacy McAnulty, Toni Buzzeo, Sean Jensen, and more! They’ll spend the first 90 minutes with us!  IMAGINE using children’s books to enhance, enrich, and extend curriculum while reinforcing character education.  Four authors and illustrators will offer spotlight presentations on this topic.  IMAGINE what you can do with the bounty of resources you’ll receive: creative—and free—materials for using children’s books to support instruction.  IMAGINE spending a memorable morning with sixteen children’s authors and illustrators learning about new children’s books, investigating teaching tools, and sharing innovative ideas for bringing outstanding children’s books into your classroom!
