A 4-hour CTLE Workshop | Pre-K—Grade 8 led by Literacy Consultant and Author, Judy Bradbury. Engage in an idea-and-resource-packed workshop at the 4th annual WNYCBE. IMAGINE all the ways to use books in the classroom with insights from a panel of eleven nationally-acclaimed, award winning, and beloved children’s authors and illustrators including Loren Long, Alyssa Capucilli, Cynthia Lord, Jim Averbeck, London Ladd, Lesa Cline-Ransome, Stacy McAnulty, Toni Buzzeo, Sean Jensen, and more! They’ll spend the first 90 minutes with us! IMAGINE using children’s books to enhance, enrich, and extend curriculum while reinforcing character education. Four authors and illustrators will offer spotlight presentations on this topic. IMAGINE what you can do with the bounty of resources you’ll receive: creative—and free—materials for using children’s books to support instruction. IMAGINE spending a memorable morning with sixteen children’s authors and illustrators learning about new children’s books, investigating teaching tools, and sharing innovative ideas for bringing outstanding children’s books into your classroom!
