Free Quick Health Checks for Success

Get Ready to GROW was established in 2014 and provides comprehensive developmental screenings and follow-up for children from 12-60 months.  Since its inception, Get Ready to GROW has screened over 14,000 children. Screenings, or quick checks, are completed in the following areas with standardized procedures, tools, and parent questionnaires: Vision, Hearing, Dental, Height and Weight, Speech and Language, Social-Emotional, Thinking and Reasoning, and Motor Development. Navigators provide support and follow-up assistance to families, caretakers, and programs to access further evaluation, resources, and services as needed. In 2019, GROW Rochester adopted the Help Me Grow model to enhance its cross-sector partnerships and community impact. And in 2022 GROW Rochester expanded into Get Ready to GROW Finger Lakes.
